Subterranean spelunking (cave exploring) is lots of fun. Feeling really brave? Try potholing – also known as ‘vertical caving’. Caves can be man-made, but many have been carved out by natural forces such as water. Either way, you’ll find underground tunnels, stalagmites and stalactites, and perhaps even a bat or two. It is the perfect challenge for the whole family!
