Do you operate all year round?

Our School and Corporate Programmes operate in term time only.

Our Summer Camps operate during Easter (April) and over the Summer School holidays (July and August).

Will there be a female member of staff?

Yes there will always be a minimum of at least 1 female member of staff.

Are your staff DBS checked?

Yes, every staff member of The Tribal Way must have an up to date Disclosure Barring System (DBS) check.

Do you provide a risk assessment?

Yes we are fully risk assessed.

What happens in bad weather?

We have plenty of activities which can take place if we have any bad weather so the majority of the time, activities will continue regardless!

Can you offer any help with organising and launching my trip?

We are happy to help help you plan and arrange your trip to ensure it meets your requirements. Please contact us to speak to one of our helpful staff.

If my child has a medical condition who should I tell?

When booking your child’s place, we will ask you to fill out a form with any medical conditions. Every member of the team will be made aware of the condition and you will have the chance to discuss it with us in more detail at drop-off if you wish.

Will it only be my school on the camp?

Yes, we only accept one school at a time.

What are the toilets like?

Our loos are flushing porta-style loos like you might find at a festival. We have boys, girls and staff loos on each camp.

Will my children shower?

At Yes, on our 3 and 5 day camps, children will shower once. Hand-washing, and general hygiene is very important on camp. We also have showers on site if children require additional showers due to accidents or periods.

What if my child doesn’t settle at camp?

It’s very rare for children not to settle at camp but if your child is unhappy for any reason not resolved, we will contact you directly.

What is included in the price?

All of our camps are fully inclusive, so all food including snacks, will be provided.

What qualifications/certifications do your staff have?

Our staff, camps and activities exceed all guidelines and requirements. Our highly qualified and passionate team is BDS checked, fully trained in first aid and holds all relevant qualifications. Our equipment is regularly risk assessed and our food is procured from reputable sources and stored safely, guaranteeing our food hygiene certificate.

What are your student to instructor ratios?

We operate on a ratio of 8 children: 1 instructor.

Do you cater for special dietary requirements and food allergies?

Yes, we cater for all dietary requirements, please contact us to arrange any special dietary requirements in advance of arrival at camp.

Will you visit me at my school?

Please contact us if you wish to request a visit. We will try and accommodate if possible – please not this may be dependent on distance.

Are you accept childcare vouchers?

At The Tribal Way, we provide an outlet for outdoor education as opposed
to childcare, so therefore are not registered with OFSTED. his means that we are sadly unable to accept Childcare Vouchers.

What happens to lost property after camp?

At the end of each camp, we collect everything that was left behind, we do our best to get things back to you, should we find it. Please contact us if you believe something has been left behind at camp and we will do our best to assist you.
